Thanks Tom for your feedback about webVM – I agree there are a lot of me 2 web video companies out there but I haven’t come across any specialising in web video for direct marketing as we are – and with average response rates of 28% - we are doubling the response rates of html email marketing. The fact that only 4 months in we have a large global client on board must mean we are doing something right. They really like the digital video case study concept because not only is it useful for DM campaigns- their sales force can also use if for 121 lead generation with prospect clients – and they can measure in real time not only video views as you can with you tube- but views AND response to the calls to action by individual email address – not to mention the viral forwarding data. The fact that Flimp has grown 7 fold in the US since September 2008 must mean they are doing something right as well. By the way, I love you tube- and use it extensively- but for the £18bn UK Direct marketing industry FLIMP offers so much more - particularly in the analytics…
I do hope you will keep an eye on us going forward… and maybe have a different view the next time our paths cross…!
