INTRODUCTION

Join us on 22nd July 2009 from 6 to 9pm at University of Manchester Incubator Company (UMIC), 48 Grafton Street, Manchester, M13 9XX to hear north's leading tech entrepreneurs present their companies to a panel of Digital Advocates from Mccann Erickson, Latitude Group, MC2, And Digital, et al.

The event exposes innovative products to Digital Advocates who hold accounts with blue chips such as Tesco, NHS, UPS, Aldi, Auto Direct, Sainsbury's, Marshals, etc.

Through presentation, companies will explain their value propositions both for the end client as well as for the Digital Advocates (sell to and sell through strategy). Digital advocates will query each company to evaluate the potential benefits and commercial opportunities.

Tom Cheesewright, Strategy Director, And Digital

In marketing since 2000, learnt through experience rather than education. Working with the largest global brands (BT, HP, IBM and Orange) and the tiniest early-stage startups (PhoneFromHere.com, mGami, and FaceTec), I have developed a simple philosophy of focusing on the techniques that work, delivering a measurable result, usually sales.

SPONSORS

LAMP Digital

Since our inception in 2006, LAMP Digital has worked jointly with a number of very early stage tech startup businesses; to deliver demonstrable proof of concept software which allows the organisation to move to the next stage, often first round of investment. We have undertaken these projects on an extremely flexible working basis, from fully joint ventures to equity share and revenue share arrangements. We have now taken one of our clients’ projects to market where it is now being implemented with Vodafone and T-Mobile World-wide, proving to be commercially extremely successful.
