DFJ Esprit angels invest in CloudApps

London, 21 June 2011- DFJ Esprit, a leading European venture capital firm, has participated in a funding round for CloudApps, which provides sustainability and energy management solutions on an innovative and agile could platform. The size of the funding round was undisclosed.

DFJ Esprit has joined an impressive group of angel investors in the company including Chairman of CloudApps and Chairman of salesforce.com EMEA Steve Garnett, CloudApps Board Director Stephen Kelly and angel investor Erik Tiller.

CloudApps suite of products enables organisations to make efficiency savings and meet sustainability targets by aligning the entire enterprise behind corporate sustainability goals. CloudApps is unique in engaging employees and driving behavioural change by creating individual accountability for environmental impact.

The investment will primarily be used for accelerating sales and product development. Since launch in October 2009, the company has already won impressive customers such as Veolia, Norland and LA fitness.
