Ed joined EV in 2002. After graduating in engineering, Ed became manager of a business developing and selling acoustic products for telecom applications, before becoming Managing Director of the operation creating and funding spin-outs at Bradford University. During this time Ed also served as Chairman of Unico, the university spin-out commercialisation association.
Ed is a member of the EV Tech team, investing on behalf of the EV RisingStars technology funds and has responsibility for the South Yorkshire Investment Fund Seedcorn Fund. He has specialist experience in healthcare devices, software and internet related investments. Ed keeps an occasional blog at www.techgain.net on his experiences of early stage technology companies.
