A warm invitation by northern tech entrepreneur, Manoj Ranaweera of edocr.com (a Webmission08 Company) to join fellow tech entrepreneurs, investors and deal makers from both the North of England and London on 8th of June 2009 at Sun Microsystems, Regis House, 45 King William St, London, EC4R 9AN, Tel: +44 20 76283000 from 2 to 9pm (Workshop and Dragons Lair).

This is a truly remarkable event to learn, share knowledge, establish partnerships, explore funding and investment opportunities, and be part of the tech community.
Please use #NS20 and #TML09 for your tweets. Please spread the word about this event by tweetering, blogging, etc.
Workshops run from 2 to 5pm with three breakout sessions after the short keynote speech by Michael Birch. The breakout sessions are for you to help refine the propositions of the pitching companies (and other startups) better, therefore improving their chances of success, and also to establish partnerships, explore investment opportunities, etc. Actual split will be decided on the day.
Michael Birch, who sold Bebo to AOL for a reported £420 million will be joining us for both sessions. Michael has joined forces with Brent Hoberman of LastMinute.com and other successful entrepreneurs to launch a development fund, European Founders Capital (EFC) to aid start-up technology companies. EFC is expected to fill the gap between angel investors, who typically make hundreds of thousands of pounds available, and venture capitalists who provide millions.
How often do you get a chance to rub shoulders with one of the best tech entrepreneurs that the UK has produced in recent years?
Please visit http://www.nwstartup20.co.uk/jun09 for more details
Cost of participation is £60+VAT.
You can purchase heavily discounted tickets through our partners Sun Microsystems, Chinwag, Angel News, Being Digital and eOffice.
Some of the mature startups (Webmission08 companies) supporting this event includes Huddle.net, Zebtab, The Filter, edocr (well still early stage) and Rummble.
