8th & 9th June - Tech Mission London 2009 and Being Digital 2009 - London

The invasion of London by Northern tech community has just begun with a tech mission planned for 8th June 2009 at Sun Microsystems - London. To ensure our community get the maximum benefit, we have teamed up with Being Digital run by Mashup boys, Tony, Simon and Robert on the 9th.

Tech Mission London 2009 (#TechML09) provides a dynamic environment for Northern Tech community (tech entrepreneurs, investors, deal makers and service providers) to engage with their counterparts from London. Key objectives of this mission are to build new relationships and partnerships, share knowledge and best practices, and explore investment opportunities. The Mission includes a 3-hour workshop and a Dragon's Lair, where 8 tech startups will pitch to 6 Dragons.

WORKSHOP

14:00 to 17:00 - build new relationships and partnerships, share knowledge and best practices, and explore investment opportunities. The workshop is aimed at northern and london based tech entrepreneurs, investors and deal makers with limited access to service providers.

Our tech mentors include Andrew Scott (Rummble), David Maher Roberts (The Filter) and Damon Oldcorn (Zebtab), all Webmission08 tech entrepreneurs. If you wish to be a mentor (experienced tech entrepreneurs and venture capitalists), please get in touch today.

DRAGON'S LAIR III (DL)

The Dragon's Lair will take the same successful format as the two events held in Manchester, two sessions, each with 4 companies pitching to 3 Dragons. Our Dragons include Michael Birch (Bebo), Nic Brisbourne (DFJ Esprit) and Daniel Waterhouse (Wellington Partners). And we are waiting for Brent Hoberman and few others to confirm. There are various prices, depending on which session you want to attend from our Workshop and Dragon's Lair to Being Digital Conference. Please visit event page for payment.
