The next event will be held on 28th October at KPMG Manchester (doors open at 18:15hrs with kick-off at 19:00hrs) hosted by KPMG. This event will take you through the motions of venture capital investment into digital startups from first meeting to cash in the bank and beyond. We have selected speakers and panelists that have significant experience in this process.

The First Timer....

Are you seeking investment to grow your business? Have you wondered about your emotions when seen for the first time a large sum of money in your business account from a venture capitalist or a business angel? How long have you been on your quest to secure funding? Have you wondered why others are getting funded when you have not quite succeeded? If so, this is the event for you to hear from those involved in typical transactions, an investor, entrepreneur(s), a corporate lawyer and a corporate financier.

You have raised funding before (invested or made the deal on behalf of investor or investee) and keen to share your experience with those who are going through this journey first time or had mixed successes in the past.

The panel will include an investor (Roy Shelton), entrepreneur(s) (Robert Wakeling) who have raised funding, corporate lawyer (Stuart Scott-Goldstone) and corporate financier.
