A night out with Tom Watson, UK Cabinet Office Minister, Roy Shelton (Angel), great northern digital entrepreneurs and friends

On 24th September 2008, the Northern StartUp 2.0 will welcome Tom Watson, UK Cabinet Office Minister to Manchester. We plan to showcase up to 15 promising startups to Tom (there are still few places left if you wish to grab this opportunity). This is our opportunity to show the UK Government, the talent we have in the North of England. So please join us to make this a memorable night in building a sustainable eco-system for digital companies in the North.

In case you did not know, Northern StartUp 2.0 is North of England's premier event for Northern Digital companies to present their businesses to an audience of like minded individuals made up of entrepreneurs, investors, deal makers and service providers, in an informal setting. The event series has already helped companies raise capital and find customers, strategic partners and suppliers.

In addition to Tom, we are also welcoming Roy Shelton to the community. Roy is an Angel Investor and CEO of Next2Friends, a web 2.0 startup with significant capital behind it. Join us to learn few tips on how to raise finance.

1. Create an account - click on auto e-mail to verify account opening process
2. Log on and go to the bottom of event page and click on link just before the list of attendees.
3. Make sure you see your name there!

Decide whether you are a digital startup or service provider. Let me know so that I could grant you appropriate rights to build your company profile.
